Tevo Howard will kick off his first European tour at the end of March.
The Chicago house producer's profile has risen dramatically during the past eighteen months, with a series of melodically rich—and now difficult to procure—12-inches on his own Beautiful Granville label catching the ears of electronic music aficionado's across both sides of the pond. Rush Hour were so impressed that they decided to sign both his "Move" single and Crystal Republic album up to their Hour House Is Your Rush imprint, so it makes perfect sense that Howard is to start his European jaunt in their home city of Amsterdam on Sunday 28th March. Tevo will lay down a live set at Trouw's early evening session, with DJ support from Innervisions' Marcus Worgull and Trouw resident Olaf Boswijk, before heading over to Glasgow's Slabs Of The Tabernacle party the following Saturday, where he will DJ instead.
Lucky revellers at Panorama Bar will be able to check him out both DJing and playing live alongside Steffi and Tama Sumo at their Sunday session the day after, and Sumo will join him for another live set in London—this time in the company of Prosumer—for Süd Electronic's bash at The CAMP on April 10th. Later on in the month, Tevo will DJ in both Bratislava and Turin, and play live in Bologne, but those at Nina Kraviz's Voices shindig in Russia will be treated to both of his performative configurations on top of a DJ set from the promoter herself.
