Layo & Bushwacka! will be leaving London behind for the festive season in order to undertake a tour of South America.

Most of the twelve dates will be under the banner of the duo's Shake It! parties, which they hold in London alongside co-conspirator Laurent Garnier, but the French DJ/producer will unfortunately be absent for the tour, instead deciding to take some time off after a busy year promoting his Tales Of A Kleptomaniac album. As they've proved time and time again on home turf, though, the pair have no problem taking control of the decks for the entire evening, transitioning through various styles of house and techno with a sprinkling of breakbeat to satisfy older fans.

The tour kicks off at Awake in the Brazilian state of Paraná this Friday, with the duo due to stay in Brazil until New Year's Eve. From there they'll head to the Crobar clubs in Argentina and Uruguay on the first and second days of the year, before venturing back to Brazil for a string of dates across the country.
