One of the oldest, largest and best known festivals of the Netherlands returns on 11 July to recreational area Spaarnwoude for its 15th edition... Dance Valley! And this year more than ever, the festival aims to cover pretty much all thinkable genres in electronic music with both proven as brand new stages, underground concepts, and of course the world's best DJs!

Ever since its first edition in 1995, Dance Valley has grown out to become one of the biggest outdoor dance events in the world, attracting over 40,000 visitors for a full day of clubbing at the atmospheric Spaarnwoude area. Over the course of its existence, the organisation (UDC) has brought every major DJ to the festival, with Carl Cox having dubbed the festival as his favourite outdoor bash of all time. This year, the festival sees the addition of a couple of new concepts alongside proven stages such as Renaissance, A State Of Trance and Defected In The House. Spread across the area are the so called Breeding Ground stages at which you can manifest your own creativity. There's Dum Dum Trailer Park for all things eclectic, and Gary's Galaxy if you're looking for spaced out rave and intergalactic freakiness extraordinaire...

And now for some big names that will play this year's edition: Sasha, Dave Seaman, Armin van Buuren, Hernan Cattaneo, Martijn ten Velden, Steve Lawler, Mark Knight, Tiefschwarz... but by now, you're probably heading for the ticketshop anyway...

Tickets to Dance Valley 2009 are available now at Ticketservice and the Dance Valley website and cost EUR 62,50 (ex fee).

(Honestly, to describe every little detail of the festival would make your eyes bleed eventually, so we're just gonna let the lineup do the talking. After all, it's Dance Valley, so you know it's essential anyway. Check it out and be amazed...)
